How does AI food analysis work?
Simply take a photo of your meal, and our AI will analyze it to estimate calories, protein, carbs, and fat. The analysis typically takes 2-3 seconds. You can always manually edit the results if needed.
How accurate is the food analysis?
Our AI provides estimates based on image recognition. Accuracy depends on image quality, portion visibility, and food type. We recommend using the results as guidance and adjusting portions manually when needed. The more you use the app, the better you'll understand typical portion sizes.
What's included in the FREE plan?
The FREE plan includes 3 food scans per day, basic nutrition tracking, and 7 days of meal history. It's perfect for trying out the app and basic tracking needs.
What do I get with PRO?
PRO unlocks unlimited food scans, full meal history, AI nutrition assistant, biomarker tracking, detailed reports, Lifestyle Programs, and priority support. Available as monthly (CHF 9.90), yearly (CHF 79), student yearly (CHF 49), or lifetime Founders Pass (CHF 99).
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → EatSense → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → EatSense → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their policies. To request a refund, contact Apple Support (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play Support directly.
What are Lifestyle Programs?
Lifestyle Programs are dietary inspiration guides based on cultural archetypes and wellness philosophies. They're designed for motivation and education, not as medical diet plans. Programs referencing public figures are creative interpretations, not actual celebrity diets.
Is my health data safe?
Yes. Your data is encrypted and stored securely on servers in the European Union (Netherlands). We never sell your personal data. You can export or delete all your data at any time from the app settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers immediately. This action cannot be undone.
Does EatSense provide medical advice?
No. EatSense is a nutrition tracking tool, not a medical device. Information provided is for general guidance only. Always consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions, especially regarding biomarkers, medications, or health conditions.
